Thousands turn out for Black Lives Matter demonstration in Birmingham in Uk
Thousands of protesters descended on Centenary Square in Birmingham city centre for a Black Lives Matter demonstration.
There were poignant scenes in the city centre as demonstrators took a knee and chanted after the death of George Floyd in the U.S.
Mr Floyd died after a white officer held him down by pressing a knee into his neck in Minneapolis on May 25, sparking days of protest in the US.
After london,Birmingham has the largest black population in the UK followed by Manchester Leeds Liverpool and Bristol and Reading which together these cities make the backbone of Black britain for the others to form a hub around.
