Walter McMillian Falsely Accused Of Murdering White Store Clerk
Walter McMillian was convicted and sentenced to death, for the murder and robbery of a store clerk, 18 year old Rhonda Morrison in 1986. He has been sitting on death row, in an Alabama maximum security prison for 6 years, for a crime he and others swears he did not commit. In spite of witnesses swearing to his whereabouts at the time of the murder, no physical evidence, eye witnesses or prior arrest record, his cry of innocence has gone unheard. His compelling story screams the same scenario of old, "any black man will do".
