The brick homes in Detroit are some of the best built homes in the country. All the homes across 8 mile and surrounding suburban areas were cheap wood homes built for returning soldiers after WW2. Why bypass a well built brick home to live in a cheap wooden home? White folks are trying to build these cheap wooden homes for black folks who are not in the know so they can reclaim and refurbish these grand brick homes. Someone in Detroit was just offered 50 K by some white just for the wood work in one of these Detroit homes, and they did not sell!

Yes inded they are. That's because many of the homes were constructed between the mid 30's-60's and more solidly built by mainly black masons. I was born and raised in Chicago, with friends in Detroit so I know how beautiful the homes were back then and some of them can still be renovated today, if the city and state government leadership all the way up to the feds, weren't so damn crooked. But as usual Detroit is still 78% black, so you know they are not going to fund rebuilding on a state or federal level. But the city has approved a couple of renovation projects, to restore some of the homes on a small scale, through a nonprofit organization, but that's about it.

@Shala Yisrael: This brother helps people who are interested in buying property in Detroit, by checking out the property, let's you know the damage and how much to repair it, do the repair at a decent price and manage the property. I found out from him there are Chinese buying property in Detroit and renting it out and he manages a few of their properties. Some of the houses are going for pennies on the dollar. So check his channel. ====>> https://youtu.be/hqMASgH5Mdk
