In US news and current events today, days of protests continue in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and across the country after the police-involved death of George Floyd, who was killed after police kneeled on his neck during an arrest.

Rep. Al Green from Texas spoke about the killing of George Floyd, saying it's time America has a 'war on racism' before more Black people die. 'If Black lives mattered as much as white lives, Ahmaud Arbery would have finished his jog. If Black lives mattered as much as white lives, Christian Cooper wouldn't have been falsely accused.
