Video Game Remakes That are Better Than The Original

Final Fantasy VII remake was a great example on how reboot in video games work. There are alot of contenders of video game remakes out there. Battletoads 2020 did a stellar job with graphics and dark humor like adult swim show. There is a sub-genre called remastered with updated graphics and sound. For example Crash Bandicoot N'Sane and Spyro Reignited Trilogy. These doesn't count as reboots but soft in the same league. Games like Resident Evil 2 and 3 has remakes that done well. In retrospect, there were remakes before 2020. Killer Instinct had a reboot and The Legend of Zelda. SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated and Yakuza Kiwami were remakes of retro consoles.
