U.S. Sailor Murdered Wife Kept Her Body In Freezer 2 Years Before Dumping In San Diego Bay
Navy sailor who stabbed his 'cheating' wife to death and hid her body in his home for two years before dumping it in San Diego Bay when he moved house is guilty of murder. Elizabeth Ricks Sullivan, 31, was pulled from the San Diego Bay in October 2016.
Sullivan had vanished from her California home in October 2014 and was reported missing by her U.S. Navy servicemen husband days later. It wasn't for another two years that authorities discovered discovered the body of the woman in the San Diego Bay. Her husband Matthew Sullivan, 35, has been found guilty of her murder. Trial heard how the couple had marital problems after Elizabeth 'had an affair'. Matthew dumped her body into San Diego Bay as he left the area for good. It's believed her body was hidden in a freezer before she was finally dumped in the bay.
