Exactly. I wonder what the back story is to this? He looked like a lone Prison Protestor or something. He probably got at least 90 days on the Hole.

@BConscience: That's 100%! I've been a proponent of an upgrade to the Black "Code" to include that NO immediate family nor friends of a black person who was tragically killed should accept interviews from local media; an emotionally balanced Representative who has NO IMMEDIATE impact from a tragedy should handle the Press. Funerals and burial/interments should be blacked out to the Press with edited footage available to any interested Media. No immediate nor extended family members should speak to that news crew who happens to hijack you and catch you off guard with a camera and a mic in your face asking for a statement. Forgiveness is offered by a Higher Power or Government, do not offer forgiveness when asked, it is out of your hands and it implies that YOU expect NO retribution nor restitution. Ask God for forgiveness, not the grieving family. Black pain and suffering should not be available for public consumption on the evening news, nor anywhere else. Black bodies are looped for hours upon hours lying in the streets, but show me the images and video of the white woman who killed her own two daughters in Houston a year or two ago. Last year, here in Milwaukee, there were two tragic deaths. One from a white family and the other from a black family. A white chlld (kindergartener or 1st grader) lost his mother and father to a Heroin overdose. They showed the blurred (out of focus) image of the playground of the school that the child attended. In the SAME news report, a black toddler had gotten into his mother's prescription medicine...non-Opioid, btw, and overdosed. The child died. The news crews found the Grandparents returning home from running whatever errands and sprang upon them with all sorts of shitty questions. Both were tragic instances, but there was no tracking down the white Grandparents of the white child who was now parentless. This shit is all too common now. Just like the child who fell into the Gorilla enclosure in Cinci. The media broadcast the criminal history of the father who wasn't even there. It's all to form an image and an narrative.
